These terms govern your use of the Vera app and website, operated by Vera Apps LLC, Delaware, United States.

1. Using the service
By using Vera, you agree to these terms. Vera offers Orthodox Christian readings, prayer content, a calendar, and related features. Available content, recordings, AI features, and subscriptions can vary by edition, app version, and service availability. Vera is intended for adults.
2. Accounts and privacy
You can begin with a guest account. Where available, Google sign-in or an emailed code creates or opens a linked account. Keep your account access secure and notify info@vera-apps.com if you suspect unauthorized use. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and optional sharing controls. You can request account deletion at any time.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
When a paid offering is available, the Google Play purchase screen specifies its price, billing period, included features, and any trial terms before you purchase. Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown there unless canceled. Manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play subscriptions. Deleting Vera or your Vera account does not itself cancel a store subscription.
Google Play processes payments. Refunds and cancellation rights follow applicable law and Google Play’s policies. These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights. Trial availability and premium features are not guaranteed.
4. Scripture, prayer, and AI
Vera supports personal reading and reflection. Calendar and fasting information should be understood in the context of your Church tradition and guidance from your priest. Vera is not an official endorsement or substitute for pastoral guidance.
Available AI features require consent to sharing the information described in the Privacy Policy. AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect, including citations or interpretation. Verify them against the source and seek qualified pastoral guidance where appropriate. An AI response is not authoritative Church teaching. Report concerns using the in-app report option where available, or contact info@vera-apps.com.
5. Content and permitted use
The app, its branding, software, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights held by Vera Apps LLC or the relevant rights holders. You may use the service and its supported download features for personal use. Permission to access content does not grant a right to redistribute it, sell it, or extract it in bulk. Rights and restrictions of individual sources remain applicable. Nothing here limits uses permitted by law.
6. Responsible use
Do not use Vera unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, misuse other people’s information, impersonate another person, or distribute harmful content. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse or protect the service, subject to applicable law.
7. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep Vera useful and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every feature or item of content will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and applicable law
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will receive notice as required by law. Delaware law applies to the extent permitted, while mandatory protections and rights in your place of residence continue to apply. These terms do not impose exclusive Delaware courts or waive mandatory consumer remedies.
